I graduated with a Bachelor's in Dental Surgery(BDS) with distinctions in 2003.

I completed my registration exams with the GDC in London in 2010.

In 2019, I completed a Master's in Endodontology from the University of Chester.  This is the science of keeping teeth healthy and ranges from dental fillings to root canal treatments. I gained a distinction in my MSc and I have also published my research in the "Endo" journal. In my undergraduate years, I received several gold medals (achieved for the highest grade at the university) and 13 distinctions in various dental subjects.
I have over 20 years of experience as a dentist, and I have worked as a dentist in York for 15 years. I am passionate about keeping up to date with the latest developments in dentistry, and so I completed a certificate in restorative dentistry and a second certificate in dental implants at Tipton Training in Manchester in 2021 ( accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England ). I now have a post-graduate Diploma in Implant Prosthodontics ( Royal College of Surgeons). This involves placing and restoring implants. I am also passionate about working with other dental teams and specialist mentors to deliver the best care for my patients. 
I enjoy all aspects of dentistry, from routine check-ups to more complex treatments. I  look forward to welcoming you to my dental practice in York. My areas of special interest are root canal treatments, dental implants, and cosmetic dentistry. 

Outside of dentistry, I am married to Ben, and we enjoy hiking, camping, and travelling abroad. I am also passionate about nature and conservation.
