Mrs Tris Harrison is an experienced dentist with over 20 years in clinical practice, graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) with Distinctions in 2003. She has been caring for patients in York since 2012 and is known for delivering high-quality, patient-focused dentistry with a calm and reassuring approach.
Tris has undertaken extensive postgraduate training to provide advanced restorative, implant, and endodontic treatments. In 2019, she was awarded an MSc in Endodontology with Distinction from the University of Chester, with her research published in the ENDO dental journal. She later completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Implant Prosthodontics, accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England, alongside postgraduate certificates in Restorative Dentistry and Dental Implantology.
Her clinical special interests include root canal treatment, dental implants, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and preventative care. She also accepts referrals for complex endodontic treatment and implant dentistry, combining advanced clinical skills with a meticulous, evidence-based approach.
Patients particularly value Tris for her gentle manner and ability to help nervous patients feel at ease, making even complex treatments a comfortable experience.

Michelle Smith aka Shelly is our dedicated and fully qualified senior dental nurse, registered with the GDC and committed to continuous professional development (CPD). Shelly has many years of experience as a dental nurse and works closely alongside Tris, providing expert assistance with intricate root canal treatments and complex surgical procedures.
In her role as Cross Infection Lead, Shelly ensures our practice maintains the absolute highest standards of safety, hygiene, and clinical protocol for your protection.
Patients often comment on Shelly's friendly, approachable manner. She is passionate about making every visitor feel at ease, helping to create a welcoming and low-stress environment from the moment you take your seat.
